Cleveland Grays own Nancy Haas will present a talk at the Lorain County Community College addressing Union Army nurses, volunteer nurses and an Ohio connection as well as the impact that the Civil War had on the beginning of U.S. nursing.

Nancy has presented at national nursing conferences on nursing topics. Nancy has had an interest in Civil War Nursing and how these brave women defied society’s conventional norms to serve their country and led to nursing as a profession in the United States.
